2008 MAWA Research Grants Awarded

Two MAWA Research Grants of up to $30,000 each have been awarded to two leading researchers utilising alternative methodologies for studies into human diseases. Both projects have great potential to replace the use of animals in medical research. Details of the recipients and their work will be provided in the next MAWA News and released onto the website shortly.

MAWA also has three other research projects in the pipeline and each will develop new replacement methods to advance the Trust’s aims and take MAWA in exciting new directions.
